Yoga: This ancient spiritual and physical practice has been extolled for thousands of years to help improve mood, cognition, and restore emotional and mental balance. It’s an excellent tool in holistic recovery because it fosters harmony in the body and promotes stress-relief and relaxation.
Acupuncture: This well-known technique was pioneered in Chinese traditional medicine thousands of years ago and involves that strategic insertion of extremely thin needles into “trigger” points in the body, often in the ear. Oddly, it’s not painful and actually stimulates the body’s natural healing processes.
Mindfulness Meditation: Our guided meditation classes help you change your relationship to your thoughts, feelings, and emotions by encouraging you to take a non-judgmental, investigative approach to your inner life. Because most people spend their lives regretting the past or fearing the future, it can be transformative to begin to learn to simply be here now, in the present.
Music Therapy: Music therapy is another form of meditation and present-moment centering. By listening to music, reflecting on lyrics and creating music of your own, you can reduce stress and find greater peace and relaxation.
Fitness Coaching: Extensive research shows that the single most important variable for maintaining a healthy body and mind is finding an exercise routine. No matter what your current level of overall physical fitness may be, our experienced coaches will help you to develop an active lifestyle that improves self-esteem and self-image, manages stress levels and increases your energy levels, all of which reduce the risk for relapse.
Art Therapy: Similar to music therapy, our teachers show you how to tap into your creative side through painting, drawing and sculpture, to help you find a healthy outlet for your thoughts, emotions, and feelings.
