What We Treat

What We Treat at Our Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Rehab

Addiction treatment shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all approach. At our Denver drug outpatient rehab program, we utilize the most effective and evidenced based modalities combined with experiential and holistic therapies to create a unified program designed to help each person gain insight to their root cause issues and gain tools to create sustainable change in their lives.

Treating the entire individual rather than just the underlying symptoms, we treat the following:

Alcoholism

The effects of alcoholism are far reaching and effect hundreds of thousands of people each year. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse (NIAAA), more than 88,000 people in the United States die each year from alcohol-related deaths. Alcoholism is one of the most common cause of preventable deaths.

At Continuum Recovery Center in Colorado, we understand the complex nature of alcoholism and work with each individual to not only understand the symptoms of alcoholism but the underlying causes, risk factors, and help you begin a new life of possibilities.

Drug Addiction

Drug addiction does not discriminate. Regardless of race, sex, age, gender, education level or background. According to the CDC, in 2019, 70,630 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States. The most important thing to note is that help is available, and thousands of individuals have recovered from drug addiction.

At our Denver Outpatient drug rehab, we believe that realistic recovery begins with a day-to-day plan of action. Our professional staff work with individuals to develop a customized treatment plan and fine what works for them.

Dual Diagnosis

A Dual Diagnosis, or Co-occurring Disorder happens when a person is struggling with addiction and mental health condition simultaneously. Conditions such ass anxiety, depression, or even bipolar disorder can be common in conjunction with substance abuse disorder and should both be treated simultaneously.

To the layperson, it’s difficult and near impossible to spot all the signs symptoms of mental illness, drug abuse, alcohol addiction, or dual diagnosis – because the signs can be, all or in part, similar.
