Outpatient Treatment (OP)

Continuum Recovery Center of Colorado is the leader in holistic outpatient treatment programs for those suffering from the disease of addiction in the greater Denver area.

Outpatient treatment programs are perfect for clients whose addictions are less severe and whom are very committed to their recovery.  Typically, this is another step down from PHP and IOP programs.  Outpatient program may require two days of group therapy on site provides the right amount of support. This allows a client the time needed to maintain employment and balance a busy lifestyle while living at home.

As needs change, so too do the recommended steps making every journey toward sobriety, no matter the timeline, a successful approach.

If you caught the addiction early enough and are willing to address them promptly and thoroughly, this level of care might be perfect for you.

Our Outpatient Programs Include:

Individual therapy

Our credentialed and experienced mental health practitioners will spend one-on-one time with each client, adjusting treatment plans according to patient progress and duration of substance abuse. Individual therapy is essential for uncovering the root of addictive behaviors and providing a general emotional health assessment.

Individual individual therapy includes:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Proven to be an effective tool in the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions, CBT utilizes positive thought patterns, attitudes, and beliefs about oneself to transform unhealthy behaviors. The foundation of this treatment method has been developed and perfected by some of the greatest minds in psychology, and its merits continue to shine in those we treat.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Communication is a productive tool during the addiction recovery process. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy uses communication, by integrating opposing viewpoints into a person’s mental programming. When a therapist presents the opposite of what the client is thinking, it helps retrain the person’s mind and educate on how to reach different goals in a healthier manner.

Group Therapy

Clients learn to express themselves and engage with others who have been where they are and can relate to the same life struggles. Through this like-mindedness, friendships and trust grow, providing a safe space to deal with emotions. In addition, the interaction empowers participants by encouraging them to offer assistance, provide feedback, or challenge other group members in a loving yet accountable environment.

Holistic Healing Practices

Addiction recovery, in its truest sense, includes reworking mind, body and spirit into healthier balance. Referred to as holistic treatment, it involves a three-part approach to address physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs.

To complement our full suite of traditional methodologies, we also offer:

  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Music therapy
  • Art therapy
  • Fitness
  • Nutrition information

We know that addiction recovery doesn’t stop the moment you graduate from your program and become a thought leader as a member of our alumni. Our holistic alternative therapies are meant for you to learn at Continuum Recovery and continue to enjoy for a lifetime.

Family Therapy

Addiction is a disease that not only affects the person afflicted with substance abuse but also those who love them the most. Our therapists emphasize the importance in working with families and have developed a program just for them.

By helping family members better understand addiction, they provide support to their loved one in healthy ways throughout their time here in treatment and as they transition back into the real world. Family therapy sessions help mend a broken family dynamic, rebuild a strong family support system, and educate family members of all ages about addiction as a disease. Although our addiction therapy and counseling is client-focused, we put a special emphasis on family healing as well.

Re-Entry and Job Programs

As an outpatient rehabilitation program, our recovery services support clients with various resources to help them achieve success in the real world. Our job services assist clients in finding their purpose in the community, whether it’s returning to their previous job, starting a new career or volunteering at a nonprofit organization. Our experienced staff can also assist with criminal charges, unresolved court issues, debt and getting back into school.
